Thanksgiving weekend, Bay Harbor Yacht Club kicked off the holiday season with a member-favorite event, BHYC’s Holiday Revue and Lunch with Santa. This annual tradition that brings members together for a day filled with festive fun and cherished memories.
The ballroom was transformed into a winter wonderland, offering activities for members of all ages. Junior Members had the chance to share their wish list with Santa – who made Bay Harbor one of his first stops of the season! Families enjoyed a giant, inflatable, snow globe which created the perfect backdrop for holiday photos, a bounce castle, sugar cookie decorating, a Build-A-Bear Workshop, and a delightful indoor petting zoo—complete with a llama who stole the show!
Lora Ashley, BHYC’s Event Coordinator, said “The Holiday Revue is such a special tradition here, and we’re always looking for ways to make it even more memorable for our members.”
Members were thrilled with the event’s success. Bruce, who attended with his grandchildren, shared, “The Holiday Revue was amazing! The grandkids had a blast. So many activities. The petting zoo was a big hit. Who brings a llama to an indoor petting zoo?! The staff was all in character, and Santa’s visit was the icing on the cake. The club really outdid itself. Love to see events focused on the younger membership!”
As the day wrapped up, it was clear this year’s Holiday Revue was a resounding success, bringing families together to celebrate the magic of the season. We’re looking forward to continuing this cherished tradition for many years to come.
Ring in the New Year in Style
The holiday celebrations don’t stop there! Members and their guests are invited to join us on December 31st for our glamorous Old Hollywood-Themed New Year’s Eve Party. Black tie is optional, and the evening will feature elegant décor, and the always lively and entertaining Detroit-based Simone Vitale Band who will have the dance floor packed. This spectacular atmosphere will be perfect to welcome 2025 in style.
For our Junior Members, the Club is hosting a kids-only party in the Kids Club, running all the way through midnight. This special event is designed to let the youngest members join the celebration with age-appropriate fun and activities.
