All venues offer breathtaking views of Bay Harbor Lake and northern Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay, and our professional event staff provides collaborative and hands-on design and planning services. Our comfortable and well-appointed venues accommodate seating for intimate gatherings of just a few, to large groups of 500 guests. Whether you are planning an elegant wedding ceremony and reception, a themed event or entertaining guests on a private yacht, BHYC exceeds expectations.
Lange Center Ballroom
The epitome of elegance, the Lange Center Ballroom is a magnificent option for larger functions and soirees. Guests are greeted with a grand entrance into the beautiful foyer that leads into the outdoor terrace. From the ceiling of the Ballroom hangs exquisite chandeliers and the North wall of the room is wrapped in windows providing a panoramic view of the lake, giving way to an abundance of natural light. Featuring a neutral color palette, the room is cohesive with any design motif. Accommodating over 500 guests, this functional venue can be divided or configured to suite smaller gatherings or breakout rooms.

Promenade Dock
Featuring a waterfall and lush garden backdrop, the Promenade Dock is perfect for cocktail parties and strolling dinners. Located just steps from reception venues, the Promenade Dock also provides a spectacular, picturesque setting for a wedding ceremony. Say “I Do” amongst the stunning yachts docked outside the Club and surrounded by pristine, turquoise waters of Bay Harbor Lake. The Promenade Dock accommodates up to 300 guests with ample electrical access for musicians and officiants.

Lange Center Terrace, Foyer and Rotunda
An ideal location for any outdoor event, the Lange Center Terrace borders the North end of the Lange Center Ballroom and offers copious space to stroll and mingle and breathtaking, elevated views of Little Traverse Bay.
The expansive Foyer features walls adorned with nautical artwork and a remarkable compass rose at the entrance.
The Rotunda overlooks the lake, in the direction of the sunset and offers an intimate location for private dinners.

Marina Lounge
Inside the Bay View Dining Room, the beautiful Marina Lounge space offers incredible lake views in an intimate setting. Whether it’s a private birthday party, executive brunch or a holiday celebration, the Marina Lounge offers an intimate and atmospheric space for your next gathering.
